Alabama’s defense has always had standout players under Nick Saban.
The Crimson Tide rebounded after the Texas A&M game with a 49-9 win in Starkville against Mississippi State. One of the reasons why the Tide were able to dominate the Bulldogs was due to players like Will Anderson Jr.
Anderson had 6 tackles and 4 sacks in the game. That performance earned him the Bronko Nagurski player of the week award:

Anderson is having a great year so far through 7 games. He has 20 solo tackles and 7 sacks.
Alabama will need Anderson to keep his production up at the linebacker position if they want to make another national championship run.
Anderson and the No. 4-ranked Crimson Tide face Tennessee at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
