Alabama OC Bill O’Brien offers updates on status, coaching after arriving in Dallas for Cotton Bowl

Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien is back with the Crimson Tide after isolating following a positive COVID-19 test last week. Updated CDC guidelines allowed O’Brien to get back with the team Tuesday.
O’Brien discussed his health during a Tuesday media opportunity. The first-year UA offensive coordinator said he’s feeling fine.

While in isolation, O’Brien was limited to coaching the team virtually. He said it wasn’t an issue.

While it’s good to hear that virtual coaching wasn’t an issue, O’Brien and the Alabama offense is certainly glad to be working together face-to-face ahead of Friday’s Cotton Bowl game, a College Football Playoff semifinal, against Cincinnati.
