No. 1 Alabama has done nothing to make people question its position atop the AP and Coaches polls, but even for a team as historically great as the Crimson Tide, the 2016 season is off to a great start.
According to Ben Jones of TideSports.com, Alabama has scored more points in its first four games than it has in nearly 100 years:
Alabama has scored 189 points in its first 4 games, the most it has scored in the first 4 games for the program in 95 years.

The road figures to get slightly harder this week, as the Crimson Tide takes on Kentucky. Still, Alabama hung 52 points on a ranked USC squad and 48 points on a ranked Ole Miss team, so 50-plus points isn’t out of the question against the Wildcats.
