Alabama won the inaugural Joe Moore Award in 2015 and is in position to do so again this season.

The Crimson Tide’s offensive line unit was named one of three finalists for the award, The Foundation for Teamwork announced Tuesday in a news release.

Iowa and Ohio State’s groups are also up for the accolade, which honors the nation’s “Most Outstanding Offensive Line Unit that best displays Toughness, Effort, Teamwork, Consistency, Technique, and “Finishing,'” according to the news release. The award is the only major college football accolade that recognizes an entire unit.

Alabama’s offensive line has helped the team to an undefeated record and No. 1 ranking in every major poll. Those linemen have paved the way for an offense that leads the SEC in scoring and is second in total offense.

The news release specifically mentioned offensive tackles Cam Robinson and Jonah Williams, calling them “two of the best tackles in the country.”

The winner of the Joe Moore Award will be revealed Dec. 9 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.
