Alabama is set to lose some depth on offense as backup running back Roydell Williams is looking for a change of scenery, according to 247Sports.

Williams saw little action in the Rose Bowl and had one carry and lost a yard. He dealt with an ankle injury in that game after he wore a walking boot after the SEC Championship win over Georgia. He had 64 yards and a touchdown in Atlanta against the Bulldogs.

For the season, the backup running back produced 561 rushing yards.

His best game came during a turning point for the Crimson Tide at South Florida with 129 yards and a touchdown. In the Iron Bowl, Williams rushed 8 times for 30 yards and a touchdown, and picked up a crucial first down on the Tide’s final drive, as he took a toss play around the right side of the line to move the chains on 4th-and-short.

Williams in his Alabama career had 234 total carries over 4 seasons at Alabama as he was largely the second option out of the backfield for the Tide.
