Alabama offensive starter ruled out for remainder of Cincinnati game

Alabama got off to a strong start on its first offensive drive against Cincinnati in Friday afternoon’s Cotton Bowl.
But, moving forward, the Tide will be down a key offensive starter. During the first quarter, right guard Emil Ekiyor seemed to injure his shoulder.
During the second quarter of ESPN’s broadcast of the College Football Playoff semifinal matchup in Arlington, Texas, it was announced that Ekiyor would be out for the remainder of the game.
The Tide will now turn to freshman JC Latham at the right guard spot. Fortunately for Alabama, he was 247Sports’ top offensive tackle in the class:
JC Latham in for Ekiyor. Latham was our No. 1 OT in the nation at @247Sports. Former DE who, when he realized he was going to be 6'6 305 as a HS senior, got nasty and embraced the move. https://t.co/txsynF2Fa6

We’ll see how the offense holds up with some shuffling along the offensive line.
