RJ Sneed is a Texas wide receiver committed to an in-state school, but that’s not stopping the Crimson Tide from tying to flip him.

Sneed, a three-star wideout from Cypress, Texas verbally committed to TCU, tweeted Sunday that he received an offer from Alabama.

Ole Miss and Auburn were among the teams to previously offer Sneed, who committed to TCU on Feb. 13.

None of Alabama’s eight commits for the 2017 class are labeled as a wide receiver by 247Sports. Chadarius Thompson, a four-star prospect, is officially listed as an athlete.
