Alabama pass-rush trio ahead of last year’s pace entering SEC title game
The Crimson Tide were the best pass-rushing team in college football last season and one of the most dominant groups in recent memory, but this year’s group might be at the same level.
Led by the fearsome trio of Jonathan Allen, Tim Williams and Ryan Anderson, Alabama excels at creating chaos in opposing backfields. Allen, Anderson and Williams are already ahead of schedule when compared to their stats entering the SEC championship game last season.
Entering the SEC title game, Alabama's Jonathan Allen, Tim Williams and Ryan Anderson have combined for 108 QB pressures.

Alabama sack totals are down a bit from last year at this point, though. The Crimson Tide have 41 sacks heading into Atlanta, compared to 46 last season.
That decrease can’t be pegged on Allen, Anderson and Williams, however, who have 22.5 combined sacks this year, which is two more than they had through 12 games last year.
