Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa may not have been able to stay on the field long enough to compete for a Heisman Trophy this year, but he was still a model student-athlete.
Now, he’ll have another award to add to his huge collection, as it was announced on Monday that he’d won the Bobby Bowden Award.
That award honors “the Division I player who epitomizes a student-athlete from a faith perspective,” per an award release. “He must conduct himself as an exemplary model in the classroom, on the field, on the campus and in the community.”

The award is named for former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden.
Tagovailoa seems like a solid recipient of the award for this season.
