Alabama has had a tough day on Sunday. First, the Crimson Tide found out they would not be playing in the College Football Playoff, as the committee decided to go with SMU as the final at-large team.

To make things worse, it is now being reported that the Crimson Tide will be losing not 1, but 2 receivers as Kendrick Law and Caleb Odom both plan to enter the transfer portal.

Law, a junior had 10 catches on the season for 105 yards and 1 touchdown. He scored a touchdown in the season-opening win against Western Kentucky but had to deal with injuries throughout the 2024 season.

During the game against Tennessee, he committed a crucial penalty late that played a role in the Crimson Tide losing that game. In his Alabama career, Law has produced 33 catches for 343 yards.

Odom signed with Alabama and was looked at as a guy who could become a cornerstone for the Crimson Tide offense the next few seasons. He was the No. 53 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

However, Odom wasn’t able to put it all together, as he finished with only 7 catches for 65 yards. At 6-foot-5, 227 pounds, there figures to be a lot of teams that will look to bring him to their school.

Players can’t officially the transfer portal until Monday, but there figures to be many more players across the country who enter the transfer portal.
