Following Alabama’s win over Oklahoma in Saturday’s Orange Bowl, coach Nick Saban said an MRI would help determine the severity of LB Christian Miller’s hamstring injury. The results are in and they’re encouraging.

ESPN’s Chris Low is reporting that the MRI on Miller shows a hamstring pull, not a tear. A tear would have likely sidelined Miller for the national championship game on Jan. 7, but a pull means he can possibly return to play against the Tigers.

Miller could be key to the Crimson Tide’s effort to get pressure on Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence.
