Alabama is getting set for a matchup at Coleman Coliseum against No. 1 Auburn.

The Iron Bowl of Basketball had never been a 1-vs-2 matchup before Saturday. And, judging by the fact that Alabama students filled their section of the arena as soon as the door opened, Saturday’s battle in Tuscaloosa will be a barnburner.

Alabama’s social media team released a photo of the Tide’s jerseys not long before tipoff. As you can see below, the Tide will be wearing crimson retro jerseys with white trim, the words “Crimson Tide,” and their player number on the front. That means Auburn will be wearing white in Tuscaloosa.

Both Alabama and Auburn have their sights on a national championship. A loss by either team won’t ruin those prospects, but the winner will get some much-needed momentum with the SEC and NCAA Tournaments right around the corner.

The Tide currently lead the all-time series 102-68. Alabama won 3 in a row in the series before Auburn broke the streak on Feb. 7, 2024, running away with a 99-81 victory at Neville Arena over the then-No- 16 Tide as they made a school-record 40 free throws.

Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. ET on ESPN on Saturday. Alabama is a 1.5-point favorite, via ESPN Bet.
