Alabama sends classy message to Jalen Hurts after he was drafted by Eagles

Usually, when a player transfers from one school to another, that player isn’t exactly the most popular guy with his former fan base.

That was not the case for Jalen Hurts, who still felt plenty of love from Tuscaloosa after transferring from Alabama to Oklahoma.

In fact, after Hurts was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in Round 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft on Friday, the Crimson Tide’s Twitter account even congratulated him:

That’s a classy gesture from Alabama, but it also shows just how much Hurts meant to the Crimson Tide program during his time with Nick Saban and the Tide.

Now, we’ll see if his popularity follows him to Philadelphia for the start of his NFL career.
