Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has been busy overhauling his staff this offseason, making major changes after the Crimson Tide’s disappointing end to the 2026 season.

One of the biggest moves DeBoer has made is the firing of offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic after 2 seasons with the Tide, a move that many anticipated given Alabama‘s underwhelming play up front over the back half of the year.

DeBoer hasn’t taken long to find Kapilovic’s replacement, with CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz reporting on Monday that the Tide are set to hire USC staffer Adrian Klemm as the next OL coach in Tuscaloosa.

A former second-round draft pick and 7-year NFL veteran, Klemm has spent the better part of two decades as an assistant coach, making multiple stops at both the NFL and FBS levels.

He has spent time coaching up the offensive line with SMU, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New England Patriots, and the Oregon Ducks, and spent the 2025 season as an offensive analyst on Lincoln Riley’s staff at USC.

Klemm’s resume is as impressive as anyone’s, and he’ll be taking that experience down to Title Town in hopes of rejuvenating the Crimson Tide’s offensive line in 2026 and beyond.
