The Alabama Crimson Tide have been absolutely dominant all year long. That has culminated in an incredible performance against Ohio State in the College Football Playoff title game on Monday night in Miami.
The offense has been particularly spectacular. Midway through the fourth quarter, Alabama has put 52 points on the scoreboard, compared to only 24 points for the Buckeyes.
Here’s the touchdown that helped the Tide get to 52 points. It was Najee Harris’s third score of the game:

That 52 points is a new College Football Playoff title game record, topping the 45 points Alabama scored in a win over Clemson back in 2016.
It’s not an overall Playoff record, though. That would belong to the 2019 LSU Tigers, who put up 63 points on Oklahoma in last year’s Playoff. There’s still time left in the fourth quarter, though, so we’ll see what the Tide can dial up!
