Alabama specialist announces he’s entering the NCAA transfer portal

Alabama specialist Jack Martin is going to explore his transfer options moving forward in his college career.
The Crimson Tide backup kicker/punter took to Twitter on Monday to reveal his decision to enter the NCAA transfer portal with 2 years of eligibility remaining.
Martin said he’ll receive his Bachelor’s degree in finance at the end of the first semester of this year. He thanked Alabama for the opportunity:
I am officially in the transfer portal.
2 years of eligibility.
I will receive my Bachelors Degree in Finance this December.

Martin transferred to Alabama from Troy prior to the 2021 season. He kicked off 5 times in 2021 and had 3 touchbacks. He also made 1 field goal in 1 try.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but it appears his time in Tuscaloosa is coming to an end.
