ESPN’s Mark Schlabach released his 10 predictions for the 2016 College Football season and three include SEC teams.

Schlabach’s top prediction is Alabama repeating as national champions. He suggests the Tide will once again have a strong running game that “will be punishing people” and a defense that “will be stuffing everyone” by the end of the regular season.

Naturally, Alabama was included in Schlabach’s second prediction, which names the four College Football Playoff teams. He predicted Clemson, Oklahoma and Michigan would join the Tide in the semifinal games which — aside from Michigan replacing Michigan State — would be a repeat of last year’s playoffs.

Schlabach also predicted Tennessee will win the SEC East, despite losing to Florida for the 12th consecutive year. He credited the Vols for showing steady progress under Butch Jones and claimed they “look loaded on both lines of scrimmage.” Despite this, he believes the Gators extend their winning streak with Steve Spurrier in attendance.
