After not seeing any playing time at Alabama, Caden Clark will reportedly look to continue his college football career elsewhere. Clark has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal according to Matt Zenitz of On3.
An Archbishop Hoban product out of Akron, Ohio, Clark was a 3-star recruit on the 247Sports Composite, rated the No. 11 in the state and No. 20 tight end in the class of 202. He signed with Alabama on Dec. 18, 2019, over 11 other scholarship offers, including Kentucky and LSU. Though Clark signed in 2019, he did not actually enroll at UA until Jan. 11, 2021.
Clark’s Alabama bio simply reads, “Did not see action for the Crimson Tide this season.” We’ll see if he can find playing time at a new school.
