Alabama will host Georgia during the 2024 regular season, according to a report.
BamaOnLine was first to report that news on Wednesday morning. The SEC will announce its full schedule for the 2024 regular season on Wednesday evening.
This would be Alabama’s first regular season matchup against Georgia since 2020. The Tide won that battle 41-24 in Tuscaloosa.
The 2 SEC giants have met twice in the postseason since then, with each team winning once. Georgia’s win over the Tide came in the National Championship Game in January of 2022.
Alabama’s other known opponents in 2024 include Wisconsin, Western Kentucky, South Florida and Mercer. Georgia will face Clemson, Tennessee Tech, UMass and Georgia Tech in nonconference play that season.
The Action Network’s Brett McMurphy is also reporting Georgia will travel to Texas to face the Longhorns in 2024.
Texas’ 2024 conference schedule in debut season in SEC, @ChipBrown247 reports, includes:
* home game vs. Georgia
