Head coaches in any sport beg and plead with their players to not give the opponent any extra motivation through the media — especially when a rivalry game is upcoming.
This thought is enhanced two-fold when facing the No. 1 team in the sport.
As reported on Wednesday, LSU defensive back Dwayne Thomas made some strong proclamations about the upcoming game versus Alabama on Nov. 5. Thomas believes that LSU “will dominate [Alabama].”
Thomas is expected to defend against the likes of Alabama WR ArDarius Stewart. Taking to Twitter, Stewart had a brief message for Thomas, and those in the media doubting Alabama’s chances in this contest:
