2017 Alabama wide receiver signee Henry Ruggs III is known a speedster, but this news will have Alabama fans even more excited to get him on campus.
At the AHSAA track and field championships on Saturday, Ruggs not only won the 100m dash, but he also set a state record in the event. His time of 10.58 was good enough for a record at the 7A level, the highest in the state of Alabama.

Sometimes track speed and football speed can be different, but rest assured Ruggs is just as fast when the lights come on. And his highlights just scream playmaker.
In football, the 6-foot, 175-pound Ruggs is rated as a 4-star prospect at WR by 247Sports Composite and the No. 11 WR in the class.
Ruggs finished ranked as the country’s No. 77 overall prospect in 2017.
