Sports Illustrated announced that University of Alabama senior quarterback Blake Sims will be featured on one of four covers for year-end issue, dated Dec. 29.

With the words “The Mayhem Begins,” the double issue features a preview of college football’s inaugural playoff with the headline “The Case for Blake Sims and Alabama in College Football’s First Final Four.”

The issue also includes a feature on freshman punter J.K. Scott, calls the LSU win the turning point of the season (although Nick Saban maintains it was the Arkansas game), and an analysis by an opposing coach on how using misdirection is the best way to beat the Crimson Tide.

There will also be a feature of former Alabama running back Mark Ingram Jr., of the New Orleans Saints.

The other covers feature Ohio State’s Cardale Jones, Oregon’s Marcus Mariota, and Florida State’s Jameis Winston.
