When it comes to Alabama’s dominance over the previous decade of college football, it’s impossible to single out an individual stat that’s most impressive. That being said, the Crimson Tide’s record against the spread while on the road is pretty gaudy since Nick Saban’s second year in Tuscaloosa.

How’s this for a stat? Alabama has only been an underdog twice in the last decade! Both times came on the road and both times the opponent was Georgia. The Bulldogs were a 6.5-point favorite over Alabama way back in 2008 in a game won by Alabama 41-30 and once again in 2015 when UGA was favored by one point but lost by four touchdowns (38-10 was the final score) in Athens.

In total, Alabama has a combined against-the-spread record on the road and in neutral site games of 43-26 in the last decade. The Tide have gone 24-16 as an away favorite and 17-10 in neutral site games.

Take your pick on which stats are the most impressive, you likely won’t find any against-the-spread records that match it in modern college football history.
