Former Florida quarterback Jake Allen has a new home in the Ivy League.

A little over a month ago, Allen announced his intentions to leave Gainesville in search of a new place to play.

On Friday night, Allen announced that he’ll be taking his talents to Dartmouth:

Allen redshirted as a true freshman in 2017, and it didn’t look like he was going to pass either true freshman Emory Jones or redshirt sophomores Kyle Trask and Feleipe Franks on the depth chart.

Before arriving at Florida, Allen was the No. 23 pro-style quarterback in the 2017 class.

The former St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) quarterback will have to sit a year because of NCAA transfer rules, but he’ll have 4 years of eligibility.
