Alvin Kamara is going to be in attendance for Saturday’s rivalry matchup between Tennessee and Alabama. He announced that in decisive fashion Saturday afternoon while shutting down trade rumor.
Kamara, who plays for the New Orleans Saints, is carrying the Saints franchise right now. New Orleans is 2-5 on the season and has dropped 5 straight, including Thursday night to the Broncos.
That lead to a rumor that Kamara had requested a trade from New Orleans. Instead, the former Vol posted this on social media to quell those rumors:
I ain request a trade.. so that’s a lie. I’m in an orange robe on the way to Knoxville.. #WhoDat

Kamara had to specify what color he is wearing for a reason, of course. Despite being known for his time at Tennessee, Kamara started his college career in Tuscaloosa with the Crimson Tide – though he never played a game for Alabama. He transferred to Knoxville ahead of the 2015 season from Hutchinson Community College after leaving Alabama in 2014. The star NFL RB is all-Vol.
Kamara has rushed for 438 yards this season while hauling in 34 receptions for 252 yards. He’s accounted for 7 touchdowns – 6 rushing and 1 receiving.
Tennessee hosts Alabama at 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will be aired on ABC.
