Former Tennessee standout Alvin Kamara has been a part of setting the standard for what a successful, versatile running back at the NFL level looks like. That’s something that has continued despite the fact the New Orleans Saints are injured something of a dismal season.

Kamara made NFL history on Sunday, becoming the first player in NFL history to record 10 games with at least 1 rushing and 1 receiving TD in his first 6 seasons. Through the afternoon’s matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, Kamara totals 10 carries for 41 yards with with 1 touchdown.

He’s also been effective through the air as a player who has frequently shown what he can do out of the backfield, catching 9 passes for 96 yards with 2 touchdowns.

Expect Kamara to continue to roll as the Saints lead the Raiders 24-0 at the midway point of the third quarter.
