The former Georgia Tech and NFL defensive lineman was with the Chargers in 2017, and his previous 5 seasons were in the college ranks. He spent 3 seasons on Oklahoma State’s staff, and he spent the 2016 season at Texas-San Antonio, where he served as the defensive line coach.
Henderson is a New Orleans native, which would add to Fisher’s recruiting ties in the area. The Aggies have a bit of work to do with only 10 signed in their 2018 class. Perhaps Henderson would give Fisher the late boost he needs to close his first class strong.
The second National Signing Day is set for Feb. 7. Texas A&M currently has the No. 35 class in the 247sports rankings.
