Amare Adams is beginning to dwindle his list of potential future programs.
Adams released a top 7 on Tuesday and 5 SEC programs made the cut: LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina. He’s also still considering Clemson and Florida State.

Adams is one of the top prospects in the country for the class of 2025. He’s the No. 99 overall player and the No. 7 defensive lineman in the nation, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 player from the state of South Carolina.
He has already taken unofficial visits to Clemson and Tennessee this year. He’s likely to take more trips as his recruitment continues to unfold.
Adams attends South Florence High School in Florence, South Carolina. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 275 pounds. He is quickly developing into one of the most sought-after pass rushers in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
