Amari Cooper finished tied for his lowest reception total of the season (4) last night but found his way to the end zone on one play that best summarizes his abilities with the ball in his hands.
Cooper, the former Alabama standout wide receiver, helped the Oakland Raiders secure their eighth win of the 2016 campaign by ending the game with four catches for 57 yards on Monday Night Football against the Houston Texans.
Cooper’s lone score came on a pass at the line of scrimmage where he makes an ankle-breaking stutter step to the left before turning on the jets and exploding up the middle for six to give the Raiders a seven-point lead with 4:43 remaining in the fourth quarter.
SEC fans and anyone who played the Crimson Tide are just happy he’s no longer doing these kinds of things to them.
The 2015 first-round draft pick now has 62 receptions for 900 yards and three touchdowns in his second season in the league.
