Amari Cooper apparently isn’t shy about splashing his cash.
The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, who is in the 2nd year of a 5-year, $100 million deal signed in March 2020, has reportedly paid $120,000 for a set of diamond dog tags and chains for quarterback Dak Prescott and his wide receiver corps, according to TMZ.
The website says that the chains have the word “DAWGS” written along the top, and are designed by Gabriel The Jeweler, who’s worked with some of the biggest names in the NFL. TMZ adds that this was before the Cowboys’ win over the Minnesota Vikings on “Sunday Night Football”, a game Dak Prescott missed due to a calf injury.
On the field, the Cowboys are off to a red-hot start as they’ve won 6 in a row following a season-opening loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They host the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
