NFL.com analyst says Laremy Tunsil will ‘revolutionize’ left tackle position
Former Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil will not only be worthy of the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, he’ll change the position forever.
That’s just a piece of the praise that NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks heaped on Tunsil on Thursday.
“Put it in pen. He’s going to be the dude. He’s going to be the No. 1 pick, and he’s going to come and he’s going to be a perennial Pro Bowl player and we’re going to talk about him revolutionizing the position at left tackle.”
Virtually every mock draft has Tunsil projected as the No. 1 overall pick of the Tennessee Titans when the NFL Draft begins on April 28. If he does, he’ll be the 10th SEC player to go No. 1 overall since the 1970 draft.
In 28 career games with the Rebels, he only allowed 2 sacks.
“This is a guy that is a dancing bear on the edge, sweet feet, love the way his feet, hands are connected on the edge,” Brooks added. “He’s going to snuff out the elite pass-rushers from the day he steps foot on the field.”
