Andrew Whitworth, former LSU OL, announces plans for 2022 NFL season

Andrew Whitworth is doing what not many athletes get to say they did. He’s going out a champion.
The former LSU star offensive lineman won a Super Bowl as a key member of the Los Angeles Rams this past season, taking down the Cincinnati Bengals in the title game.
Now, Whitworth — 40 years old and a 16-year NFL veteran — has announced his retirement from the pro ranks:

Whitworth was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in Round 2 of the 2006 NFL Draft. He spent 11 years with the Bengals before heading to the Rams in 2017.
Whitworth was a 4-time Pro Bowl lineman. He was also a member of LSU’s 2003 national championship team.
