Anthony Richardson has had some great moments in his young career, and he has had some down moments as well. However, Sunday falls in the great category, as he was able to lead the Indianapolis Colts to a thrilling 25-24 come from behind victory against the New England Patriots.

The Colts were trailing 24-17 late in the 4th quarter when Richardson led Indianapolis on a incredible 19-play, 80-yard drive. With 12 seconds remaining in the game, Richardson hit Alec Pierce to cut the deficit to 24-23.

However, Shane Steichen decided to roll the dice, and go for 2 and get the win. Richardson delivered with a powerful run, and got in to give the Colts the lead.

That gave the Colts the lead with 12 seconds, but the drama wasn’t quite over as the Patriots were able to attempt a 68-yard field goal as time expired. It was close, but Joey Slye’s kick came up just short to give Indianapolis the win.

The drive was huge for Richardson and the Colts, as the team would have been all but eliminated from the playoff conversation with a loss. The Colts move to 6-7 on the season, and within striking distance in the AFC playoff race.
