Gators star WR Antonio Callaway and former starting QB Treon Harris will not be working out with the team during spring practice, and have not been with the team since January.
Florida coach Jim McElwain revealed the news during a pre-spring press conference on Tuesday.
McElwain says #Gators are "without" Treon Harris and Antonio Callaway, who haven't been w/ the team since Jan and won't be in spring.

McElwain was very tight-lipped about the status of the duo beyond the statement that they would not be with the team.
"That will be the last we talk about that," McElwain says, providing no details as to the absence of #Gators QB Harris, WR Callaway

He did not indicate the reason why Callaway and Harris aren’t with the team, would not call it a suspension, and did not give a timetable for potential returns.
Mac would not say whether Callaway and Harris are suspended, or whether Harris will play QB or WR when, if he returns.

McElwain did not clarify what position Harris would play if he returns to the team.
Here are some more notes from the presser:
Mac said Luke Del Rio enters spring with a leg up in QB competition.

Quincy Wilson and Joey Ivie (hernias) will be limited, McElwain said. Alex Anzalone (shoulder) cleared for the spring.
