Antonio Johnson Jr. may have only played in 9 games for Texas A&M during the 2022 season, but he still finished only 2 tackles behind the team leader in that category, recording 71 stops this year.

He also added 1 sack, 1 pass breakup and 3 forced fumbles. Now the hard-hitting defensive back has made a decision about his future.

As you can see below, Johnson took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon to reveal he was forgoing his senior season and entering his name in the 2023 NFL Draft:

Johnson, a versatile defender who can stop the run and make plays against the pass, has been getting first-round buzz ahead of the draft.

He’ll be tough to replace in the Aggies’ secondary, but he has a chance to make an immediate impact on Sundays next fall.
