AP Men’s Basketball Poll, Feb. 27: 4 SEC teams ranked in latest top 25

The AP men’s basketball poll has been updated following the penultimate week of the regular season.
The top 5 stayed the same this week, with Houston in the No. 1 spot, followed by No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Kansas, No. 4 UCLA and No. 5 Purdue.
A total of 4 SEC teams — No. 2 Alabama, No. 12 Tennessee, No. 23 Kentucky and No. 24 Texas A&M — were ranked this week, as Alabama took another step toward locking up the No. 1 seed in the SEC basketball tournament.
Mizzou and Arkansas were among the teams also receiving votes in this week’s poll.
