LSU remains at the top of the AP Poll this week as the Tigers just went into Tuscaloosa and knocked off Alabama 46-41 with the entire college football world watching.
Alabama took a slight drop in the new AP Poll after entering the weekend ranked No. 2 — the Crimson Tide had been No. 1 for much of the season but were leapfrogged by LSU in a recent AP Poll.
Outside of the SEC’s highest-ranked teams, Georgia and Florida both were dominant on Saturday, winning by a combined margin of 83-0. Auburn had the week off, which sets up another classic next weekend between the Bulldogs and the Tigers on The Plains.
