Week 18 AP college basketball poll released

The Associated Press has just released the Week 18 college basketball poll following another weekend of hardwood action.

After ranking No. 8 last week, the Wildcats have made a jump up the poll and are now just one spot away from the top 5. Meanwhile, Auburn took a slight drop this week and is at No. 17 after ranking as No. 15 last week.

No other SEC teams are ranked in this week’s poll.

LSU is ranked in the “others receiving votes” category.
