AP Preseason All-America teams: Georgia earns most first-team selections

The AP Preseason All-America list has been released and the SEC is well-represented. The conference racked up 7 selections for the first-team, which is second only to the Big Ten (12).

Back-to-back national champion Georgia leads the SEC with 5 selections across the 2 teams, followed by Alabama and LSU each with 3 selections. Georgia’s first-team selections are tight end Brock Bowers, center Sedrick Van Pran and defensive backs Malaki Starks and Javon Bullard.

Nationally, Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams of USC, Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michigan running back Blake Corum are among the returning first-team players.
