The latest AP Top 25 poll is out. And, as has been the case for much of the early season, the SEC saw a number of its teams represented as 11 conference teams made the poll for the second straight week.

LSU remained at No. 3 after its 20-10 win over Florida in Baton Rouge on Saturday. Meanwhile, Georgia rose a spot to No. 5 after a stirring overtime victory at Tennessee, while the Volunteers stayed put at No. 15. Texas, ranked No. 7 the previous week, slipped to No. 8 amid an unconvincing performance by Arch Manning despite a win over UTEP.

The biggest jump, though, belonged to Texas A&M, which stunned Notre Dame in South Bend behind a late Marcel Reed touchdown pass. The Aggies climbed from No. 16 to No. 10 while the Fighting Irish plunged 16 places to No. 24.

In Columbia, South Carolina‘s loss to Vanderbilt saw the Gamecocks fall from No. 11 to out of the polls altogether in a game that saw LaNorris Sellers exit with a reported concussion. Vandy, which received a vote the previous week, is now ranked No. 20, its highest ranking in the poll since 2008.
