Which college football teams managed the 25 best performances during the Thanksgiving Weekend?
Editor’s note: This is not a real poll and is a ranking of teams based on Saturday’s results only. Teams on bye weeks are not ranked. We’ve included the actual Week 15 AP Top 25 for comparison.
Here’s how the AP TOP 25 should’ve looked based on Week 14 performances ONLY
1. ALABAMA — Lane Kiffin was the final nail in Ellis Johnson’s coffin after the Crimson Tide’s 55-point eruption against Auburn.
2. OREGON
3. OLE MISS — Win No. 9 came in the Rebels’ biggest game, the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State. The loss shoves the Bulldogs out of the College Football Playoff.
4. GEORGIA TECH — The Yellow Jackets posted a thrilling overtime win at Georgia, intercepting Hutson Mason for the game-saving play in the extra session.
5. TCU
6. FLORIDA STATE — Jimbo Fisher’s team knows how to escape and did it again Saturday against the upset-minded Gators. The Seminoles have won 28 straight.
7. ARIZONA
8. KANSAS STATE
9. WISCONSIN — The Badgers knocked off 18th-ranked Minnesota to clinch a berth in Saturday’s Big Ten Championship against Ohio State.

21. LSU — The Tigers won their eighth game on Thanksgiving, taking out Texas A&M in College Station behind one of Anthony Jennings’ top performances of the season.
22. USC — What happened to Notre Dame? The Trojans took the Fighting Irish behind the woodshed for an old-fashioned beating in Los Angeles.
23. VIRGINIA TECH
