Arch Manning puts together historic 6-touchdown day vs. Arkansas

Arch Manning has put together a terrific bounce-back performance for Texas as the Longhorns have opened up a big fourth-quarter lead at home against Arkansas.
Manning has done it all offensively. Literally. He’s tied his career high with four passing touchdowns, three of them to DeAndre Moore Jr. He’s run one in to the end zone from three yards out, his seventh rushing TD of the season. He’s even caught a touchdown pass from Parker Livingstone, as a reverse worked to absolute perfection.
Texas has had a number of great quarterbacks over the years. Manning is the program’s first to pass for, run for, and catch a touchdown in a single game.
To put it into further perspective, only two other FBS quarterbacks this century have thrown for 4 touchdowns, run for 1, and caught 1 in the same game without throwing an interception, according to Radar360. That’s Ohio State’s Terrelle Pryor (2010) and Northern Illinois’s Jordan Lynch (2013).
Manning threw for just 251 yards against Georgia, including an interception and a touchdown. He’s picked up the pace against the Razorbacks as the Longhorns have cruised at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium.
Up next is Week 14 against Texas A&M. While Texas, at No. 17 in the College Football Playoff rankings, may be on the outside looking in at the 12-team field, it can at least deal the Aggies their lone blemish in what’s been a perfect season thus far.
