Archie Manning could barely handle watching Peyton on Sunday

Ole Miss legend Archie Manning played a decade in the NFL, has watched his sons win three Super Bowl during long, storied careers and has pretty well seen it all when it comes to the game of football.

But even that can’t stop the nerves of being a dad.

We all get the sense that this may be the last big NFL playoff run for former Vols QB Peyton Manning.

And with those stakes being raised, it made for some tense moments late in the Broncos’ contest against the Steelers.

It seemed to overwhelm good ole dad:

 

 

As it turns out, Archie will get another chance to see Peyton play in the AFC championship game following the Broncos’ 23-16 win.

It will be the fifth AFC title game meeting between Manning and New England QB Tom Brady.

Things won’t get any easier from this point forward, Archie. So buckle in for this wild ride.
