Alabama wide receiver ArDarius Stewart left Saturday’s game against Ole Miss after experiencing a sprained knee injury in the first quarter. However, he contributed to the Tide’s success from the sideline by carrying an axe as a motivational tactic.

Stewart was seen carrying the axe after undergoing a concussion test, which obviously garnered criticism.

Instead, it seems his departure was due to a knee injury. His status for next week’s game against Kent State is uncertain.
Stewart entered Saturday’s game as Alabama’s leading receiver. The junior caught 13 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns during his first three games.
