Arizona State coaching search: SEC head coach reported to be among possible candidates
Bryan Harsin’s seat at Auburn seemingly grows hotter by the minute.
Many believe that without an epic turnaround Harsin’s second season with the Tigers will be his last.
But could he have another landing spot?
ESPN national college reporter Pete Thamel has pointed to Harsin as a potential candidate for the Arizona State job.
The Sun Devils are in the market for a new coach, having fired Herm Edwards on Sunday
Names for Arizona State: Bryan Harsin, Kalani Sitake, Jonathan Smith, Tom Herman, Troy Calhoun, Charles Huff, Matt Entz, Sean Lewis, Bill O’Brien, Todd Monken, Derek Mason and Alex Grinch.

Harsin to ASU could make sense. The 45-year-old has West Coast ties after an impressive 7-year run at Boise State.
Also mentioned by Thamel as potential candidates were Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken, Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien, and former Vanderbilt coach Derek Mason, a Phoenix native who’s now the defensive coordinator at Oklahoma State.
