Arkansas football earned a pledge from Class of 2024 wide receiver Ashton Bethel-Roman Tuesday evening. Bethel-Roman now represents Arkansas’ highest-rated offensive verbal commit in the cycle.

The speedy receiver out of Missouri City, Texas has been trending towards Arkansas, especially following an official visit on July 23.

Bethel-Roman chose Arkansas over Oregon, TCU, Texas Tech, Baylor, Nebraska and Arizona State, to name a few.

Bethel-Roman also competes in track and field at Ridge Point HS and comes from an athletic background. His father, Mark Roman, played 10 years in the NFL for the Bengals, 49ers and Packers.

Bethel-Roman is considered to be the No. 124 overall prospect in the Class of 2024, as well as the No. 19 WR and No. 24 player out of the Lone Star State.
