Arkansas announces it will host Missouri every other year in Little Rock’s War Memorial Stadium
Arkansas games in War Memorial Stadium will stick around for the foreseeable future.
The plan announced by the school is fairly straightforward, the Razorbacks will move homes games against Missouri, originally scheduled for Fayetteville, to be played in Little Rock. That means every other year, Arkansas will play a regular season game in War Memorial Stadium.
This deal will be in place until the 2024 season. Arkansas is scheduled to host Mizzou in 2019, 2021, and 2023.
As a compromise, the school is seeking the ability to hold its annual Red & White spring game in Little Rock in the years that it is not scheduled to host Missouri. In order to do so, the school must be granted a waiver by the SEC. If a waiver is not given, the school cannot host spring games off campus.

One thing to consider here for Arkansas, giving up a home game in Fayetteville means the Razorbacks cannot host recruits for official visits during the next few Missouri games. Official visits are not permitted off campus. If the school is granted a waiver by the SEC, the program won’t be able to host recruits for the spring game every other year.
While that may not seem like that big of a deal to some, keep in mind Arkansas already plays Texas A&M annually in Arlington — meaning in some years, the Razorbacks will now be giving up two weekends to officially recruit.
Here’s an example of the schedule Arkansas will now have to host official visitors in 2019 following this news: Portland State, Colorado State, San Jose State, Western Kentucky, Auburn, and Mississippi State.
