Arkansas basketball fans will have to wait to see Nick Smith’s 2022-23 debut as a Razorback. The team has announced Smith will not be playing Monday against North Dakota State. There is no timetable for Smith’s return to play.

Mason Choate of Arkansas Rivals shared the details of the team’s announcement regarding Smith:

Out of North Little Rock (Arkansas), Smith was rated the No. 1 combo guard and No. 3 prospect overall in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite. He chose to play for the Hogs over 25 other scholarship offers.

Arkansas enters the 2022-23 season ranked No. 10 in the AP Top 25. Eric Musselman’s squad is coming off of a 28-9 season in 2021-22, in which the Razorbacks reached the Elite 8.

Arkansas-North Dakota State is set for 7 p.m. CT. It can be streamed via SEC Network+.
