Arkansas defender will miss Missouri game after having shoulder surgery

Arkansas will be without one of its key defensive players when the Razorbacks finish the season by taking on Missouri in its Border Battle rivalry game on Friday afternoon.

Junior linebacker Hayden Henry had surgery to repair an injured shoulder and will miss the game against the Tigers, Arkansas interim head coach Barry Lunney Jr. announced in his media availability on Tuesday.

Henry has played in 9 games this season, recording 30 tackles, 2.5 sacks tackles for a loss and 1 sack, along with a forced fumble. He missed the Razorbacks’ game against LSU on Saturday while dealing with the shoulder injury. Last season, he had 24 tackles in 7 games.

The Razorbacks and Tigers kick off from Little Rock at 2:30 p.m. ET on CBS. Mizzou leads the all-time series between the teams 10-3 and has won the last 3 matchups, including a 38-0 win at Faurot Field last year.
