An Arkansas defensive end is transferring.
According to Andrew Hutchison of WholeHogSports, sophomore Anthony Brown will be leaving the program.
Brown did not play in 2015 but appeared in three games as a true freshman last season. He had a quarterback hurry and batted down a pass against Auburn in Week 1 and made his only tackle in the Razorbacks’ win over Northern Illinois in Week 4.
In April of this season, Brown was suspended during spring practice, but coach Bret Bielema didn’t give a reason for the discipline.
Brown is a former three-star recruit from Miami, Fla.
Brown tweeted Monday about leaving Arkansas and a couple of players showed their support, including Denver Kirkland and Kevin Richardson.
It feels like it was yesterday so many memories in so lil time I leave Arkansas a better man with a lot to prove. May all my brothers EAT!
